Band Together is a story full of hope, optimism and a dose of rebellion.
Band Together was imagined by Raleigh community leaders as a response to the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The vision has evolved from raising funds to support international tragedies to raising funds and awareness through the power of live music with a special nonprofit partner every year. Thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of volunteers, generous corporate and individual sponsors, dedicated board members, musicians and the generosity of our community, Band Together has risen to be a powerful partner to nonprofits in the Triangle Area.
Our Main Event has become the Southeast's largest annual charitable event.
We know music has the power to bring people together for incredible things. Over the past 20 years, Band Together has hosted over 55,000 concert goers and more than 50 musicians.
Band Together has donated over $10 million to benefit the Triangle community since 2001.
Through the power of live music, Band Together has raised funds with over 20 nonprofits to give back to the Triangle community.
